The third Sustainable Development Goal:

SDG 3 is to: "Ensure healthy lives and promote well-being for all at all ages "Important indicators here are life expectancy as well as child and maternal mortality. Further indicators are for example deaths from road traffic injuries, prevalence of current tobacco use, suicide mortality rate. The third Sustainable Development Goal seeks to achieve universal health coverage, which seeks to achieve equal access to health care services for all men and women. It proposes to put an end to avoidable deaths of newborns, infants, and children under the age of five (child mortality) and to put an end to epidemics.

The new goal for worldwide Good Health promotes healthy lifestyles, preventive measures, and modern, efficient healthcare for everyone.
